Senior Software Engineer

Our client has built the leading supply chain mapping, traceability, and transparency software on the market today. Their clients include category-leading global brands, manufacturers, and suppliers across the food & agriculture, fashion, beauty, manufacturing, and electronics industries (Mars, Hershey's, Timberland, Vans, et. al.).

Their work directly contributes to improving human rights, slowing deforestation, and many other things to make the world a better place.

They seek an experienced Software Engineer to join their growing development team. You would join an enthusiastic and collaborative team of developers in a fully remote position. This role has a strong hands-on component as you would be building and deploying new features to their platform. You would also participate in the development and mentorship of junior team members by sharing best practices and prior experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor team members and perform code reviews
• Develop software architecture
• Write, test, and maintain software across the stack
• Contribute to engineering best practices and technical documentation
• Manage Azure Environment CI/CD pipeline
• Navigate large, unfamiliar code bases (internal and/ or 3rd party)
• Debug issues anywhere in the stack (Current Stack is MEAN - Mongo, Express, Angular, NodeJs)
  

Desired Experience:

• 5+ years writing production-ready, full-stack code
• 3+ years MongoDB or NoSQL alternative
• Architecture experience (Microservice, AWS management, etc)
• Front End Framework (React, Angular)
• Other experience: Node, Javascript, Git, Debugging, TypeScript
